I think during our day we tried a little something of everything on the menu, but I loved the hot dog with brisket on top! While there are concession stands, they also have a menu you can order from, and they have adults drinks as well. Outside food and drinks are not permitted, however you can come and go with your wristband, so you could just bring an ice chest and leave it in your car. I loved that the lifeguards took the time to really show the younger kids how to ride, and encouraged them to try a few tricks once they got the hang of it!Įpic Waters provided us with a cabana, which was a fun place to hang out and eat during our day at the waterpark! The line wasn’t long on our visit, but many of the riders come with their own boards, so they are good and it’s fun to watch their tricks! My oldest loved the Flow Rider! While the park was not at capacity on our visit, we have been there on capacity days, which is only 1,500, and while the lines were a little longer, we still had a great time! We raced along on the E-racers, fun racing slides!īut the most fun was the Lasso Loop, a body slide that drops you quickly enough that it then shoots you back up in a loop! We absolutely loved it! It has a 48 in. While I wanted to just lay back and relax in the river, my kids wanted to explore the slides! Epic Waters has 3 very unique slides, and my kids love them! Life jackets are allowed, and you can bring your own or use one of theirs. Tubes are provided free of charge for the lazy river. As I cruised around the park in it, I loved everything about it! It will be open during the summer months, with the exception of the Polar Plunge in February!īut I headed for the lazy river as soon as I could! This fun river, which isn’t all that lazy, is named the Rio Grande, and is touted as the largest indoor lazy river in the state. ![]() The only outside attraction is the wave pool, which was closed during our visit in January. While goggles are allowed, face mask are not. It was nice just to sit and watch him play, too! There were plenty of things to do by the pool, and my son quickly jumped into a game of water basketball. As times change, be sure to verify with their calendar before you go. It also has an Epic location, right off President George Bush Turnpike, across the street from Ikea, and next door to the brand new and quite amazing Epic Recreation Center, unlike any Rec Center I’ve ever seen before!
